STORYTIME! 🥾
So I was chilling in the countryside, in this big fall-ish meadow. The grasses were reaching up to my shoulders! But there were huge chunks of concrete scattered around in that meadow, probably some remains from an old construction site.

Naturally, I perched over one of them. Now I was above the meadow as if I've claimed a tiny island in a sea of grass. It was sunny, and I was sizzling like a lizard on a rock. Taking in the smell of autumn, relaxed, eyes closed.

A NOISE. I sprang up right away and just in time to see some movement. Deeper in the meadow, the grasses moved. Not in a way wind makes them move, and not a small tremble as if a mouse went by. The grasses PARTED. And then they didn't move again. It was a single, obvious motion. Something was there. THIS PHOTO WAS TAKEN A MINUTE BEFORE THAT.

My heart was already pounding. My first thought was a boar. I've seen them here before. But... There was no noise. And they're really noisy. Also, they're big, and this movement seemed less than that. When I tell you that I sat there for 20 minutes, eyes glued to the spot, waiting for something to appear, to move again... I'm not kidding.

Nothing happened. Finally, I gathered all my courage – and my curiosity, honestly – and went to the spot. It was empty. I found nothing there. But I found sings in the meadow. Little trails. As I looked around, I realised I left one just like these. It made my skin crawl. If that was a human... Nope. Just nope.

So I decided it was a fox! The movement was too big for a dog or a cat. But I didn't see anything, so it had to be something... short (deleting a mental image of some person crawling away). So... It's a fox! Here! Done! Mystery solved.
